What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnosis is a state of focused attention in which wider environmental stimuli may be ignored. It could be called a trance state, or merely a day dream. The state has many similarities with the REM sleep state.
When we are in this state our minds are anything but idle. This downtime is to allows us to make sense of what’s happening in our lives. During this state, our mind will look for solutions. We can access this suggestible part of the brain through hypnosis.
